Namaste!

I’m Anand Shiralkar, an Enterprise Builder at heart, with a passion for kick-starting new ventures and ushering them into success.

What drives me? Connecting People, Ideas, and Opportunities for a Mutual Brighter Future.

Pune, India, is where I call home, but my work extensively takes me to Japan and other parts of the world. In a decade, I’ve spearheaded 7 companies and backed 15 more with both resources and guidance. It’s not just about building businesses for me; it’s about fostering new talents and ideas and turning challenges into achievements with the synergy of like-minded individuals.

My Roots

My journey began in the Land of the Rising Sun. I spent 13 enriching years in Japan, ascending to a pivotal role as VP at Citigroup Global Markets Japan, steering an analytics and alternative research brigade. From immersing in the ethos of a traditional Japanese establishment like NTT Communications, to innovating with ventures like Theta Music Technologies, and scaling operations with global leaders like Citigroup – my odyssey has been diverse. And it’s this spectrum of experiences, merged with a decade in the pulsating startup arena, that enables me to wear multiple hats and envision solutions from varied angles.

Whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur or someone looking to make waves in the business world, let’s connect. Together, we can build, nurture, and achieve!

Quotes

Family, Friends and our role models shape our life.

“We are the average of the five people we spend the most time with.” – Jim Rohn.

Action:- Connect with people who will

  1. Appreciate your desired behaviour and positively challenge you.
  2. Help shape each other’s lives.

How to make habits sustainable?

The simple answer is to make the habits effortless. Create a surrounding where implementing the right habit is as easy as possible. We naturally gravitate toward the least amount of work. Making things easy does not mean do easy things.

Examples:-

  1. If you want to read more then keep the book in front of you so that it is easily accessible.
  2. If you want to improve diet then keep fruits and vegetables QUICKLY accessible and junk food difficult to find.

Achieve more by focusing on your core

Our level of attention fluctuates throughout the day. Try to make sure schedule fits our attention level.

  1. Proactive Attention– Mostly in the early morning… focus on things with a high return such as key decisions, critical emails, etc.
  2. Active Attention- Mostly during the work time… make day-to-day decisions, attend meetings, etc.
  3. Inactive Attention– Mostly post lunch… do filing, printing, and online orders.

Use analogies to explain your points

Here are a few examples:

  • Rian’s sales increased by 200% from last year – it is equivalent to running three marathons if you have run one last year.
  • Market drops are just small bumps, not roadblocks.
  • The act of worrying is as effective as eating junk food to achieve health.
